Beach Nostalgia Desk Mats

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my mouse track properly on this or is the surface too textured?

The polyester surface is engineered for precision tracking. Sublimation printing fuses ink directly into the fabric, creating a uniformly smooth finish without texture bumps that interfere with optical or laser sensors. The 12x18 inch dimensions provide ample space for large mouse movements. You'll get reliable tracking performance every time—no skips, no compromises.

Does the rubber base actually grip my desk or will it slide around?

The natural rubber base creates genuine friction against any desk surface—glass, wood, or laminate. It won't shift during intense gaming sessions or daily work. Unlike cheap synthetic alternatives, this rubber doesn't leave residue or degrade over time. Once placed, it stays anchored until you deliberately move it, keeping your setup stable and your mouse movements precise.

Can I spill coffee on this without ruining it?

The mat survives machine washing because both the polyester top and rubber base are built for durability. Wash in cold water and skip harsh bleach to preserve the design and fabric integrity. The sublimation print won't fade because the ink is bonded to the material itself. Air drying keeps the natural rubber's grip properties intact for years of reliable use.

Are the edges stitched or will they start fraying after a few months?

Premium perimeter stitching bonds the polyester top securely to the natural rubber base, eliminating raw edges that would fray. This reinforcement prevents layer separation even with heavy daily use and multiple wash cycles. The stitching is tight enough to handle friction from wrists and mouse movements without loosening. It's a quality detail that extends the mat's lifespan significantly.
