We're Experiencing Delays (and some good news)

Welcome to the thunder dome bitches.

I wanted to write this post because we are in the middle of major changes. Briefly said, our current manufacture doesn't give a shit anymore. This applies to me, my team, you, and most other facets of our relation. "You went from my biggest customer to smallest" - his words and way to appreciate the people that helped him get there.

Three years ago I found a local print shop that was tiny but had a couple really nice machines. Shirtwascash's growth led to a lot of success for him and he now operates out of a large facility with larger clients than us. It has become apparent that this is a one-sided relation where we help to a disgusting extent, pay invoices, and he contributes as little as possible with lies and bullshit stories. The extent of his manipulation and under-delivery is something I accept responsibility for and learned a lot from. We're being conned.

BEFORE vs AFTER

A few months ago I was helping out at his facility (doing a job we pay him to do) when I reached my breaking point. I looked at what he was contributing to the world - poor service, terrible delivery times, but most importantly he is creating BAD jobs. He's proven to be a very selfish entrepreneur that provides poor working conditions. He found the i in team I guess.

Imagine working in a shop in America where your boss sees you as insignificant, overworks you, zero benefits, (likely) undercuts your shit pay, and screams all the time (something he won't do in front of me but their employees report), while you sit on the shittiest folding chair possible. For the level of disrespect he shows me and my team, I can't really imagine his employees lives and that makes me sad. I enabled this person to become this. That is exactly the opposite of the impact I want to have on others and society. So, fuck him.

We began our search for a new manufacturer at that time. By coincidence and his growing over-confidence (we wouldn't leave, right?) he's really shown his true colors now. I deeply apologize for the delays anyone is experiencing, our team is personally working through these orders. We will have the full transfer completed soon and I hope you don't judge us too harshly for the current delivery times.

I really love that I can be real with you all. Best community & customers ever.
We are 100% committed to you, even if we couldn't say everything out loud. I am taking a risk by releasing this information to you but it couldn't wait. We're currently finalizing our new manufacturer and the transition is underway. You will receive a tracking email as usual when it's complete and orders are going out.

Now for the good news...

Shirtwascash is about to make so many improvements to our range of products, the products themselves, and shipping times that we might as well call it Shirtwascash 2.0. We are finally going to be with partners that let us push the envelope and become the absolute best... and their work conditions / culture is top notch.

It's going to allow us to expand where we couldn't before and be the brand we should have been a long time ago. The majority of our team is tied up with my previous manufacturer's mess every day and I can't wait for these changes to make their lives better and let us finally focus on the things that matter most = you + having fun.

Thank you for being with us. We're about to go super-saiyan. If you have questions, want to check your order, or need direct assistance, please visit  our help center.
